I like how they can track individual users (scares me).
After reading the the cool new name "iTrack 4", it sounds like a spy phone from a James Bond movie... Sinister!
That's a bad ass name :)
"The FBI planted an iTrack in the suspects car"
Hollywood will love it.
LMAO

I realize that you didn't question the legality but another poster (that I originally quoted) did. I am aware that the buyer will not be required to pay, and he shouldn't be. I just can't stand people that automatically declare something illegal because they think it is wrong. It seems to be a common practice these days.
too many immature people on this board, and people who think they know everything about everything :p which is why i haven't posted much over the past couple of months.

after unintentionally disconnecting a firewire HD without unmounting, I can no longer see the disk on my desktop & finder.
mount or disk utility however does see it and tells me nothing is wrong.
I can even search it and open files on it.
But i still need to physically see it for running an classic app.
Anyone familiar with this?

Anyone know of an app that will let me run my iPhoto library off an external HD?
Not sure but iPhoto Buddy (http://nofences.net/iphotoBuddy/) should do the trick.

From browsing the results I'm apparently the only one doing this :(
I'm also not really sure if I have optimized drivers etc installed.

But really, I'm embarrased for Apple & Samsung for these pathetic lawsuits they keep bringing against each other. Money, money, money!
Why? The law requires an rights owner to defend its IP or risk losing it. These suits are just business, no hard feelings, as seen by Apple's monster-sized component contract w/ Samsung. Any yes, business is about making money.

Volkswagen should bring the Polo to the US.
That's a really good point, I'm surprised they haven't already. Everybody else is all over the b-segment now, and yet I haven't even heard a peep from VW about this possibility.

Specifically mention how video resources can easily be composed with OSX Server's Podcast Producer and served to mac's iPhones/iPad.
Another aspect ... no NEED to purchase different PDF volume licenses for Adobe Pro/Standard 9/10 for simple editing [I'm unsure if Preview can edit Tables/create them].
MS Office is now properly available for OSX and is up to par with 2010 for Windows: including ability to import, edit and add-on to PST files. This will be an important mention.
* Key point. Mention a server based email anti-virus license solution - for outbound emails, or FTP/Sharepoint sites that have files uploaded to Windows users that your company/employees communicate with.
* MS Office Communicator [OCS] is now available and COMPLETELY compatible for Mac - part of Office 2011 as I'm ALREADY doing this without need for a VPN connection [using OWA settings] with corporation contacts in OCS.
* more standardized ordering of hardware makes support MUCH MUCH easier. Having a high level apple certification for both hardware/server - makes your argument THAT MUCH more sound and heard in a more official and presentable voice.
* Mention how Open Directory supports Active Directory infrastructure - again certification and a direct line of specific Apple support in this respect WILL be crucial and helpful.

That alone would justify the damned iPad for me!
Defender is from Midway Games and they're under Liquidation now:

Maybe Atari should buy their games?

Wasn't expecting this, but it is sweet. Also received a Black&Decker Drill bit kit, a sweater vest, Dr. Marten Zack shoes, a Nike running hat, and the Panasonic TM700 I posted in a previous post.

Battery life has been awful since the upgrade and seems to be getting worse. Daily charges and sometimes more frequent. This is after charging at the soonest 1.5 days since I got the iPhone 4.

No offence but I think your failing to see the disconnect between my personal position and my historical/political observations. No offence, but if you have two simultaneous positions which are in conflict, you need to make a choice. :)

The terms of your contract have not changed.
Does part of the contract talk about early upgrades and how much it will cost? If that has changed, then terms of the contract have changed.

Which is kind of hard on such a restricted and limited platform. There would be more useful software for the iPad if it ran a 'real' operating system like Mac OS X -- meaning full file system access and not being tied into ONE App Store with arbitrary rules for what a program is allowed to do.
The iOS architecture of firewalling file system access for each application makes huge sense: it eliminates the means by which malware can attack the data of other programs. Apple could relax those rules at some point; the greatest speculation I hear is that there will be a DMZ where files could be moved from one app to another. This is a far better strategy than having a promiscuous operating system and try to add the protection afterwards.
What exact app store rules do you think are arbitrary, Winni?
